About the project

 

 

The SHEQ Functional Team operates across the Infrastructure business, acting as a support service to the wider business and sectors. The team has key responsibilities for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality, as well as Responsible Business, providing advice and guidance to the business as well as driving strategies and approaches. The team is led by the SHEQ Director who is a member of the Infrastructure Management Team.

 

What will you
be doing?

 

 

 

 

Help co-ordinate environmental approaches and strategies.

Understand and analyse data from internal reporting platforms to guide environmental strategies  

Develop clear and concise environmental communications to keep internal stakeholders informed on best practice, environmental incidents, and other important environmental updates

Monitor environmental key performance indicators, providing reports for the monthly board report

Maintain the environmental management system to ensure that it remains up to date and in line with ISO 14001

Work with the environment leads to maintain the environmental legal register

Assist with environmental audits where necessary

Maintain environmental resources on the Morgan Sindall Infrastructure Academy to ensure resources remain updated and relevant.

Work to deliver learning pathways for identified stakeholders

Help co-ordinate wider Responsible Business approaches as necessary

 

What qualifications
do I require?

A degree in an environment discipline is preferred

Areas of exposure or related studies in carbon management, biodiversity net-gain, circular economy, preferred exposure to construction and engineering but not essential

Ability to travel or drive to remote site locations if needed
