Opportunity:

You will be accountable for Rail projects within the London region (within the M25), primarily those undertaken with Transport for London.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and work with the project teams to set Safety, Health, Environment and Quality standards across all projects
  • Grow and develop a multi-disciplinary team
  • Responsible for project performance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle within the region
  • Successfully deliver the projects to customer satisfaction and in accordance with Morgan Sindall and industry standards
  • Responsible for the client and key stakeholder relationships associated with the projects in the region to ensure collaborative project delivery and foster future opportunities
  • Support and/or lead work winning opportunities alongside the Work Winning team
  • Take ownership of business improvement projects / initiatives for the benefit of the region and/or Rail sector overall

Requirements:

  • Experience of working across a range of civil engineering projects of varying nature and value. Rail including stations projects would be preferable alongside experience of working on Transport for London / London Unground and/or Overground projects.
  • Have sound knowledge of the construction/civil engineering industry.
  • Experience of overall Project Leadership and/or Operations Leadership
  • You will be educated to degree or HNC/HND level in a relevant technical discipline ideally a mix of civils and electrical.
  • Demonstrable experience within other major contractors
  • Demonstrable experience of managing client, supply chain and other stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams

 

The Morgan Sindall Infrastructure Rail team are based out of Euston and Rugby.  The good news is that we operate an adaptable culture, therefore, if you are not local to Euston or Rugby but are interested in the role, let’s chat.
