Who we are looking for: 

An Early careers coordinator that will be the first point of contact for the Apprenticeship & Graduate Programmes.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support our Early Careers Professional Development Programme.
  • Provide effective pastoral and developmental interventions to the Early Careers people, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention on each programme.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to Managers, Supervisors, Graduates and Students.
  • Work closely with Morgan Sindall Infrastructure Early Careers team to support engagement and attendance on the Infrastructure Early Careers programme
  • Facilitate Inductions (virtual and in person) and coordinate the efficient welcome into the business of our Early Careers people.
  • Providing administrative and coordination skills in support of our overall training plan.
  • Assist in delivering the Nuclear Induction and onboarding programme.
  • Help facilitate in delivery of internal training / workshops across the UK involving occasional travel.
  • Manage the process for school-age work experience placements.
  • Be a key link between MSI (Nuclear) UK wide network of universities and colleges.
  • Help innovate, enhance, and develop our Early Careers programmes.

Experience and Technical knowledge: 

  • You are a HR or L&D administrator or coordinator with proven experience in the Early Careers field. You can demonstrate your knowledge, experience and understanding of early careers practices and programmes in the UK. You are a strong communicator, both verbal and written and a strong multitasker with a bias for delivery.
  • HR or L&D related qualifications such as CIPD will be highly regarded however not essential. An understanding of Apprenticeships and the Levy would be advantageous. 
  • Passion for early careers is a must!

  • Some knowledge of construction practices and standards within their subject
  • Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions

  • Ability to deal effectively with colleagues to work collaboratively together
  • Commit to ongoing development
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
