About Morgan Sindall Infrastructure

We are a community of individuals, each with varied skills, diverse backgrounds, and personal ambitions driven by our combined purpose of connecting people, places and communities through innovative and responsible infrastructure.

Our people feel proud to work for us because they know they are recognised. They have a voice, and their ideas and innovations will be harnessed and encouraged. They are involved, respected, and listened to and are crucial in driving our business forward.

Our roles develop some of the UK's most complex and critical infrastructure across five core sectors of energy, water, nuclear, highways and rail.

Talented people are the key to our success

Our infrastructure business has fantastic opportunities for anyone returning to work within our Re-connect programme.

You'll be keen to return to work for a leading UK infrastructure company which recognises that talented people from all backgrounds are the key to our success. Our opportunities are varied and diverse: whether you want to work inside, outside, up high, or below ground, we have a mix of roles where you can work from home, sites, or offices.

How will you benefit?

If successful, you will join our Re-connect programme for six months. You will work in a business area that compliments your previous competencies and experience. We will mentor, coach and re-energise your existing skills. You will receive training to help you rebuild your confidence and update your technical capability, and you will gain relevant work experience by completing projects and tasks to be up to date with the industry so you can return to work, aiming to secure a permanent position with us at the end of your six-month paid programme.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for ambitious people who are curious about our industry and share our passion for connecting with people, places, and communities.

We have opportunities if you have an interest in returning to a career in the following infrastructure disciplines, not limited to:

Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, General Operatives, Design Managers, Design Engineers, Planners and Estimators.

Are you eligible?

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Taken a career break for 18 months or more
  • Worked in our industry previously or have relevant transferable skills
  • The legal right to live and work in the UK.
