About the role: 

The Community Engagement Advisor is responsible for managing, co-ordinating and implementing socio economic benefits to the local communities to meet business and customer requirements. The role involves engaging and building relationships with internal departments and external organisations to aide collaborative working throughout the region to benefit the local communities and Morgan Sindall.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s local approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in line with local project aspirations.
  • Coordinate with other social impact programmes being delivered under local framework agreements to ensure measures within the Enhancing Communities plan for Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and client organisations are aligned.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure Morgan Sindall Infrastructure deliver their employment and skills obligations including liaising directly with universities, colleges and schools.
  • Build relationships with wider social impact team to develop and promote new initiatives, share good practice and provide wider support.
  • Gather information to support tender process for bidding team and framework bodies to ensure CSR employment and skills development work is included in tender documentation.
  • Provide CSR content to communications team to ensure Morgan Sindall Infrastructure raise the profile of CSR activities within the media.
  • Network and engage with public sector bodies in order to identify future social requirements within the region.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience to deliver social impact programme
  • Confident in communication in an appropriate style to a wide audience
  • Ability and confidence to network
  • Full UK driving licence
