Simon has led Morgan Sindall’s Infrastructure business since being appointed managing director in 2017. Starting out as a construction trainee and chartered quantity surveyor, his 30-year career encompasses strategic roles for major businesses across several sectors. Simon’s adept and dynamic leadership has propelled Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s ambitious progress in delivering long term, sustainable growth in our key sectors, enabled by creating an inclusive environment that unlocks the potential of our business and our people. This growth has been achieved alongside a firm commitment to creating mutual, long term value for communities and stakeholders. Simon’s free time is spent with his family. He is an avid fan of rugby and football, and volunteers as chairman of a local charity that provides recreational facilities for families in his area.

Mark Atkinson
Finance Director
Mark is a chartered accountant who joined Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in 2020, having formerly held senior leadership roles within several prominent accountancy and construction businesses. Responsible for implementing a progressive finance strategy, Mark champions the use of management information and technology-led solutions to deliver insights and game changing improvements. He is an advocate of the power that diversity and inclusion have for a business’s ability to challenge the status quo, drive innovation, and achieve improved results. As a keen sportsperson with a young family, Mark spends his time outside work coaching grassroots rugby and football, as well as running, cycling, and playing golf.

Andy Saul
Interim Commercial Director
Andy joined Morgan Sindall Group in January 2014 as commercial director. In addition to his Group responsibilities, he is currently interim commercial director for Morgan Sindall Infrastructure. Andy was previously managing director of Bullock Construction from 2010 to 2013 and prior to that Andy’s career included 20 years with Kier Group, culminating in the role of commercial director at Kier’s construction division.

Katie Smith
Human Resources Director
Katie joined Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in early 2020 to lead the strategic agenda around learning and development, resourcing, culture and engagement, and reward to support our long-term business ambitions. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), she has a wealth of experience gained over her 20 years in both HR leadership and operational management. Katie is driven by her commitment to fostering a collaborative culture that empowers people to connect and build relationships, creating a solid foundation for both professional and organisational success. She is a proud mum and keen outdoor sportsperson; sailing, snowboarding, and walking as often as she can.

Tim Corrigan
Managing Director - Energy and Water
Tim joined the wider Morgan Sindall Infrastructure leadership team in 2016 as project director for our Thames Tideway Tunnel joint venture, before taking overall operational responsibility of the Energy and Water business in 2017. With 35 years as a chartered civil engineer, Tim has delivered critical, high profile infrastructure schemes across the world and is a proponent of our ‘Perfect Delivery’ philosophy. He champions our dedication to empowering people and creating a culture where every employee knows that their contribution is valued. Tim enjoys travelling with his family and the great outdoors.

Eldon Garnett
Managing Director - Nuclear
Eldon joined Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in 2018, having previously held senior positions in major engineering, telecoms, utilities, and construction businesses. He was instrumental in our nuclear business securing the £1.8 billion, 20-year Programme and Project Partners contract with Sellafield Ltd. Eldon began his engineering career on a graduate scheme and has since led teams to design and deliver high-profile infrastructure projects around the world. With overall operational responsibility for our nuclear business unit, Eldon is driven by his commitment to challenging the status quo. He is a keen advocate of our development programmes, and has actively supported apprentices, graduates and armed forces redeployments in carving out long-term roles within our business. Outside of work, Eldon is a keen cyclist and cycling coach.

Paul Gott
Managing Director - Highways
Paul has led successful teams for major businesses throughout his 27-year career. Joining Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in 2007 as part of the AMEC acquisition, Paul progressed to be a senior director in 2010. He initially headed up the energy business, then tunnelling and major projects before taking operational responsibility for our Highways business unit. Motivated by his commitment to safety and innovation, Paul is dedicated to delivering consistent achievements that drive results, while ensuring that best practice safety methods are embedded to protect peoples’ wellbeing. He has successfully worked with the homeless charity Crisis to help several people into full time employment within our business and spends his time outside of work in the gym or playing golf.

Peter Kirk
Managing Director - Rail
Peter joined Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in 2019 and leads our rail business unit. As a senior leader with over 15 years’ experience, Peter has a unique track record in delivering results within manufacturing, construction, and technology, across rail and utilities sectors, both in the UK and abroad. He is a chartered engineer with the IMechE and is committed to ensuring that our people are empowered to develop and achieve their career goals and be recognised for their success. A family-orientated man and keen sportsperson, Peter enjoys sailing, playing golf and refereeing rugby.

Carole Bardell-Wise
SHEQ Director
Carole joined our business in January 2022, as Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Director.
Carole was previously executive HSE director for Crossrail Ltd and her addition to the company brings a wealth of senior leadership experience and knowledge from the infrastructure, rail and aviation sectors. She plays a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s health and wellbeing, safety, environmental and quality programmes and standards, as well as supporting our commitment to delivering innovative and responsible infrastructure across the UK.
Outside work Carole is a keen runner and enjoys a range of outdoor activities.

Bryan Glass
Commercial Operations Director
Bryan joined our leadership team in 2020. As a civil engineer with over 35 years’ experience with senior roles in both New Zealand and the UK, he has been influential in winning and delivering major international infrastructure schemes. Bryan is responsible for championing continuous improvement and driving collaboration across our business units. In addition to supporting environmental initiatives, he is an advocate of outdoor sports and spends time walking with his dogs, swimming, and skiing with his family.

Jonathan Hall
Plant Director
Jonathan has shaped his 20-year career within Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, and leads our in-house plant business. As an advocate of our ‘customer comes first’ value, he is instrumental in ensuring that our projects have access to bespoke equipment designed to help support the efficient and safe delivery of our projects. Jonathan is motivated by his dedication to seeking out innovations and in particular those that limit their impact on the environment enabling our project teams and employees to benefit from most fuel-efficient technologies available. When not supporting his son’s budding equestrian career, his time outside of work is spent walking the family dogs and playing golf.
