Job Description: As a Senior Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing significant functions within our business unit. You will oversee complex and large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet project requirements, adhere to safety standards, and align with our company's values and philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the contract to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety.
  • Ensure Perfect Delivery of projects, meeting time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Inform and consult with stakeholders and the public as needed to facilitate project delivery.
  • Rigorously manage project costs and maintain accurate expenditure records.
  • Proactively deliver a quality installation that satisfies customers.
  • Promote high levels of performance in health and safety, environmental responsibility, and quality.
  • Implement relevant Morgan Sindall policies and procedures.
  • Manage project risks and opportunities in accordance with company procedures.
  • Actively support and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Chartered membership of a professional institution (desirable).
  • CSCS certification.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and positive outlook.
  • Strong management skills, with the ability to motivate teams to achieve compliance and high standards.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Ability to ensure standards and specifications are met.
  • Proficiency in working with senior management to set project and operational targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation and diplomacy skills, with the ability to make a compelling business case to senior stakeholders.
