Who we are looking for: Business Administration Apprentice
Location: West Cumbria
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include:
Visitor Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for all visitors.
- Distribute and manage visitor passes and resident access fobs.
Access Fob Management:
- Keep up-to-date records of access fobs.
- Conduct office induction for new starters and visitors.
Room Bookings and Facilities:
- Handle room bookings and external room bookings.
- Manage charger fobs, including bookings, cancellations, and updates for the BEC whitelist.
Hospitality and Travel:
- Handle hospitality bookings for events and meetings.
- Raise requisitions for materials desk.
- Manage hotel and train bookings, maintaining spreadsheets for associated travel.
Administrative Support:
- Process IT returns.
- Maintain office supplies, including stationery and consumables.
- Place orders for PPE (nuc overheads) and maintain visitor stocks.
Safety and Compliance:
- Complete Fire Marshall and First Aid training.
- Organise on-site visits, coordinating with security and on-site teams for buses and room bookings.
- Liaise with BEC for maintenance and faults in the office, raising requisitions as required.
- Maintain fire check records and emergency lighting records.
Document Management:
- Pursue signatures for various documents.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
