Job Title: Project Information Manager
Location: Warrington
Role Definition: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Information Manager to join our team. This person will play a crucial role in supporting closely defined tasks within company procedures and industry standards. This position involves collaborating with the Project Manager to control information on a project, with a specific focus on maintaining the Document Control and Information Management Systems (IMS) functions.

Role Summary: Set up and manage the information management team within a project, including document control and IMS.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Establish an information management system for the project.
- Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure.
- Input document data into standard registers, ensuring accuracy and currency.
- Distribute controlled copies of approved documents to staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain documents and drawings in the document control office securely.
- Organize and manage document receipts, distribution lists, and project documents.
- Issue and receive controlled documentation, log issues and receivers, and create electronic transmittals.
- Archive, retrieve, and store documentation according to company standards.
- Ensure team compliance with project information control and document numbering procedures.
- Communicate information management issues to the project team.
- Provide practical help and first-line training support to team members.
- Assist with the coordination of information management across the entire project.
- Maintain and organize hard copy document masters in the satellite project library or archives.
Qualifications, Training, and Technical Knowledge:
- Educated to NVQ level or equivalent.
- Document Control experience.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and job-specific software.
- Experience in setting up and using electronic document management systems.
- Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports.
- Ability to rapidly input and retrieve data on a computer.
Attributes and Skills:
- Some supervision skills.
- Ability to manage a given list of tasks.
- Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.
- Some knowledge of construction practices and standards within the subject.
- Strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
