About the project

As part of Network Rail’s Control Period 7, Morgan Sindall were awarded a 5 year framework (with the possibility of extending by 3 years) within the western region to assess, design, strengthen or re-construct their existing structural assets to support the railway.

These assets include overbridges, under bridges, tunnels, retaining walls and culverts. The framework runs from 2024 to at least 2029 (or could be till 2032) and the western region covers a triangular area from London Paddington in the east to Worcester in the north and Penzance in the Southwest.

What will you be doing

Site Engineering to plan, organise and supervise construction projects.

  • support the overseeing and planning construction work.
  • assisting surveys, setting out works.
  • checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy and to ensure that they are followed correctly.
  • supporting with the provision of safety and quality assurance
  • assisting with the preparation of site reports and logging progress.
  • supporting the supervision of construction staff and our supply chain
  • liaising with clients, subcontractors, local authority employees, and other site team members.
  • supporting the provision of technical advice and solving problems on site.

What qualifications do I require -

A-levels or equivalent in Maths, Physics or any other science-based subject
