All Together Cumbria (ATC), a community interest company owned by Morgan Sindall, are seeking a Social Impact Co-ordinator who will assist in the delivery of our social impact strategy aligned to our vision, mission, areas of focus and the needs of the local community.

Areas of focus:

  • Talent Pipeline: Engaging with young people, aspiration building, developing skills and behaviours for work and assisting in the discovery and development of career opportunities within Cumbria.
    • Workforce Participation:Enabling access to opportunities, increasing knowledge, skills and behaviour for work, including widening opportunities for workforce participation amongst under-represented groups.

The role will be a mixture of working from home, within our Morgan Sindall Infrastructure office at Westlakes Science Park and delivering programmes at venues throughout West Cumbria. You will be a key member of the All Together Cumbria Team, reporting to the Social Enterprise Manager.

Key responsibilities

Assisting with community needs assessment and community landscaping exercise to determine the needs of the local community and identify key strategic projects that help meet/reduce these needs.

Support in the delivery of the All Together Cumbria Skills and Employability plan.

Help build and maintain collaborative networks with key local stakeholders.

Provide social impact updates for key stakeholders on the performance of social impact projects and any recommendations for improvements. 

Assist in the measurement and reporting of social impact outcomes.

Share best practice and support with both the Nuclear team and the Enhancing Communities team within Morgan Sindall Infrastructure.

Key requirements

  • You will be an excellent communicator and be able to develop and maintain strategic collaborative relationships with a variety of key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the challenges and opportunities of the local West Cumbria area in relation to skills and employability.
  • Experience of successful delivery of social value projects.
  • Experience of successfully managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
