Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Operative to support an active framework on a live operational facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for security escort duties, acting as a gateman, and assisting with site supervision activities. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and the ability to operate efficiently in a high-security environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide security escort services for personnel and vehicles entering the site.
• Act as a gateman, ensuring controlled and secure site access.
• Assist with basic site supervision duties as required by the site management team.
• Ensure compliance with all site health, safety, and security protocols.
• Monitor and report any security or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site setup and daily operational requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Previous site experience is essential.
• Experience working at HMNB Clyde is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Valid full UK driving license.
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification preferred.
• Security Clearance (SC) preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-security environment.
