Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Operative to support an active framework on a live operational facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for security escort duties, acting as a gateman, and assisting with site supervision activities. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and the ability to operate efficiently in a high-security environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide security escort services for personnel and vehicles entering the site.
- Act as a gateman, ensuring controlled and secure site access.
- Assist with basic site supervision duties as required by the site management team.
- Ensure compliance with all site health, safety, and security protocols.
- Monitor and report any security or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support site setup and daily operational requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous site experience is essential.
- Experience working at HMNB Clyde is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Valid full UK driving license.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification preferred.
- Security Clearance (SC) preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-security environment.
