Are you an administrator with payroll, pensions or benefits experience looking for a challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you within our Central Services team.
In this role you will be responsible to administer a mix of weekly and monthly payrolls and administration for pensions and benefits, reporting to the Central Payroll Manager
It would be ideal if you have experience of MHR iTrent, as a project is underway to transition from Cascade to iTrent which itself brings further opportunity to support the wider project team.
Main Responsibilities
- As part of the team, process all Weekly & Monthly payroll accurately and on time, 4000 Monthly, 300 Weekly
- Run, reconcile and post monthly/annual pension reports including processing all joiners, leavers and transfers in a timely manner.
- P11D administration
- Review and process daily expense reports.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current statutory and legislative compliance, keeping abreast of all changes.
- Ensure handling of personnel data is compliant with GDPR.
- Liaising with HM Revenue & and third-party providers when dealing with payroll related. queries and reconciliation.
- Ability to deal with complex payroll enquires and track customer cases to resolution or escalate when necessary.
- Priorities and actions all daily tasks to ensure all service delivery targets are met and where possible exceeded.
- Actively reviews existing processes and procedures and proposes any new ideas that could add value and improve the delivery of an effective and efficient service.
- Collaborate with other parts of the business and wider HRP team.
- Support Supervisor at meetings with divisions as required.
- Supports strategic HRP initiatives and projects.
Qualification and Skills
- Good working knowledge of payroll processing procedures and legislation
- Strong Excel skills
- Good technical knowledge of Pension including all aspects of regulations and Auto-Enrolment.
- Ability to communicate with both internal & external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of MHR iTrent is desirable.
- Good attention to detail.
- Organisation/Time management.
- Enthusiastic/Willing to learn.
