Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on GGP with National Grid. Initially supporting GGP Core Service commercial, procurement and finance activities, transferring this role to GGP Projects once Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase commences.
The Person:
The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of passionate and dedicated individuals.
- BSc or HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject
- Preferably qualified to CIOB or RICS accreditation
- Relevant CSCS Card
- Working within either the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Energy / Overhead Line experience would be welcome but not essential.

We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair and refurbishment services.
