The role

As a Commissioning Engineer you will identify and develop testing/ validation requirements and pre-operational work scope during the design phase. You will also write documentation and execute activities in line with established processes. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team but will also collaborate regularly with other teams in your project as well as external vendors and stakeholders.

The ideal person

You will have an apprenticeship and/ or OBC/Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline as well as experience of working in an engineering/ technical role where you were responsible for fault finding. The scale and complexity of our projects mean that you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders so it’s important that you have excellent communication skills. Good computer skills are also important as you will be responsible for producing test documentation and reports.

Experience of working in Nuclear or a highly regulated environment is nice to have but if you are new to the industry and have the relevant skills and experience then we would love to hear from you.
